Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose and Application)

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") define the conditions for using "FaveTopics" (hereinafter referred to as the "Service").

All users of the Service are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

These Terms apply to all relationships related to the use of the Service.


Article 2 (Description of the Service)

The Service is an information navigation service that collects and introduces news, articles, images, and related information published by third parties.

The Service collects, organizes, and provides publicly available information on the internet and has no partnership or affiliation with the providers or rights holders of such information.

The Service is an unofficial service and is not affiliated with any specific company, organization, artist, or other entity.

The Service may provide links to external websites or introduce external content. The operator does not guarantee the content, accuracy, safety, legality, or reliability of such external websites and shall not be responsible for any damages arising from them.

The Service may include advertisements and affiliate links.


Article 3 (Changes to the Terms)

These Terms may be modified as necessary.

If the Terms are changed, the revised Terms shall become effective once they are announced within the Service or by other appropriate means.

By continuing to use the Service after such changes, users are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.


Article 4 (Handling of Personal Information)

The handling of personal information within the Service shall be governed by the separately established Privacy Policy.


Article 5 (Intellectual Property Rights)

Article 6 (Prohibited Conduct)

Users shall use the Service at their own judgment and responsibility.

Except in cases attributable to the operator's intentional misconduct or gross negligence, the operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service.

Even when the operator is liable, such liability shall be limited to direct and ordinary damages actually incurred by the user, unless caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

The operator also does not guarantee the accuracy, usefulness, or safety of information obtained through the Service.


Article 9 (Compensation for Damages)

Even if the operator is liable for damages, the scope of liability shall be limited to direct and ordinary damages actually incurred by the user.

The maximum amount of compensation shall be limited to JPY 10,000.


Article 10 (Severability)

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.


Article 11 (Governing Law)

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan.


Article 12 (Jurisdiction)

In the event of any dispute related to the Service, the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.


Article 13 (Language)

The Japanese language version of these Terms shall be the original and authoritative text.

In the event that these Terms are translated into a language other than Japanese, and there is any conflict, discrepancy, or inconsistency in interpretation between the Japanese version and the translated version, the provisions of the Japanese version shall prevail and govern in all respects.

The Service may utilize external services.

In such cases, the terms and conditions of the respective external services may apply.
